Costa Maya Mexico. Situated in the Yucatan peninsula, this is one of the most popular cruise ports. There is no beach in the actual port, but a local beach is a taxi ride away. There are 2 large swimming pools in the port, filled with seawater. There are a huge selection of shops and restaurants, and more importantly, free WIFI in the main areas. There is a man made beach with sand, with plenty of free sun loungers, and many with shade. The local restaurant owners are happy to provide menus for food and drink, of which you can enjoy delicious Mexican dishes, washed down with a yard of eyewateringly strong cocktails. There is also an area to swim with dolphins and feed birds in an avery. The ship is docked in port, and is literally a 5 minute walk from the main activities. A really lovely port to enjoy good weather, swim, relax and enjoy.
